What actually differs, chemically
SS316 stainless steel contains added molybdenum compared to SS304, which is what gives it noticeably better resistance to corrosion, pitting and rust — the reason it is often called "marine grade" and used in coastal or high-humidity environments.
Does it matter in Bangalore specifically?
